The Palace is a Period Residence protected by the Ministry of Culture in the main square of Montepulciano, it is not a hotel but a Residenza d'Epoca, a private guesthouse with 4 rooms only, settled in a noble family's manor full of history. When I took this building to trasform it into a B&B it was abandoned since the late eighties and it was used only as a summer house. I tried too keep the original atmosphere that dates back at the second half of the XVI th century, so far paintings, frescoes and tiles are original and preciously ancient, but I redecorated our rooms with family's antiques and a bit of modern taste and comforts. Some refurbishments are still not possible because we are under a monitoring of the Ministry, so I hope you will be able to catch the "fascination of the scratch", as I call it, which is what makes Palazzo Nobile a unique demeure really lived not Ikea style.

All our restaurants in town Osteria Porta di Bacco, Il Nobile Ristorante and Trattoria il Marzocco will warmly welcome you if you would like to taste our Menù and they are just a few steps away from us. The thermal stations are less then half an hour by car in the beautiful Val d'Orcia Valley, Siena, Arezzo Perugia and Assisi are easily reachable by car.
