"Casina Rossa" is 3 km away from the Poppi’s historic center, in the beautiful valley of Casentino. Our guests find a family atmosphere in the ancient building that still preserves spaces, materials and items of furniture in style. The "Mill" is part of farm called "Casina Rossa", already present in the cadastre "Leopoldino" of Florence’s family (Medici), document drafted of the eighteenth century. It’s located along the ancient route "Lorenze", market and pilgrimage routes between Florence and Arezzo, across cultivated fields and woods, through medieval villages well preserved, reaching Casentino’s valley.

I’m an industrial designer, objects and furniture. I really love the Tuscan and its history, art and Italian food, I and my wife architect , We are animal lovers and peaceful life that the Tuscan countryside offers us, for this reason with my family we have chosen to live in a typical farmhouse. that we are restructuring themselves, using materials and techniques of his era, we build the doors, the iron gates ... we decorate the plaster and the furniture ... possibly recovering all that others throw away.
