Our B&B is located in the historic center of the city, right next to the Teatro Massimo Bellini. From our rooms and our terrace, you can admire several points of interest, such as the Bellini Theater, the domes of the cathedral and the Abbey of Sant'Agata, and other nearby churches. You can also admire the sea from the arbour view and the splendid Mount Etna, which offers a fascinating spectacle during its eruptions.
A few hundred meters away, you can visit the cathedral with its beautiful square where you can see the symbol of the city... an elephant that the locals call "U liotru." Nearby is the fish market, which you can visit in the morning and is always full of fresh fish. The market area is a very popular place in the evening because it is full of good restaurants and attractions, such as the Ursino Castle.
Near our B&B, you can also visit the Greek theater, which features a small river called Amenano, which was used as a backdrop for theatrical performances. This theater also features an Odeon, one of the few Greek theaters in the world to have one. The same river reappears underground in one of the corners of the Piazza del Duomo, where the Amenano fountain, known to the locals as "L'acqua o linzolu," is located. A few hundred meters down the beautiful Via Etnea, you'll see many beautiful churches, including the Collegiata Church. Upon reaching Piazza Stesicoro, you'll find the Vincenzo Bellini monument and the Roman amphitheater, both of which you can visit. We also recommend visiting Via Crociferi, which is lined with beautiful monuments, the Benedictine monastery, and the city market, known to the locals as "A fera o luni." In short, you won't be bored when you stay with us, and you'll be able to experience our flavors and our hospitality. We look forward to making your stay unique.
