Situated in the quiet village of Quarazzana with stunning views of the Apuan Alps, Sotto il Fico is a romantic, restful and peaceful oasis. This beautifully appointed and comfortable one bedroom apartment has been tastefully renovated and is fully equipped and self contained. The pool is a resistance and hydro-therapy pool with stunning views of the Apuan Alps. The 3 terraces offer plenty of outdoor furniture, a barbecue and dining areas. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the apartment. There is air conditioning for the Summer months and room heaters and a wood burner for Winter. Free parking is available on-site
The apartment is located along a short unmade road.a 4x4 is ideal or high fronted car.
You can park in village 2 minute walk if preferred.
The owners live above the apartment very discreetly but are at hand if anything is needed.
Quarazzana lies in the heart of Lunigiana (the land of the moon) in North West Tuscany. Close to the ancient town of Fivizzano and within easy reach of the beautiful coastal towns and villages of the Cinque Terre and beaches of Lerici and The Gulf of Poets, this is the ideal spot for those looking to discover the hidden gems of Northern Tuscany. The stunning walled city of Lucca is just over an hour away and both Florence and Milan are easily accessible. There are plenty of activities in the area including horse riding, canyoning, Zip wire and canoe safaris plus some amazing walks in the Apuan National Park. The village agritourismo offers a great restaurant but there are plenty of great quality restaurants within easy reach. Pisa Airport is an hour and 20 minutes way.
