Within Cison di Valmarino, located in the heart of the "Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene," UNESCO World Heritage site, don't miss a wonderful experience in this charming country house, beautifully restored around its original 18th-century core.
You will be staying in a 3-level Country House, each floor equipped with a shower, featuring 2 full bathrooms decorated with handmade tiles by artist Max Seibald, who lived and worked here, inspired by the surroundings.
On the ground floor, you'll find a garage, the entrance area, and a spacious master bedroom with terracotta tiled floors.
Below the terracotta tiles, an underfloor heating system was designed, preserving the original structures of this part of the house dating back to the 18th century.
The middle floor houses a spacious and fully equipped kitchen, a nearby living area, and an old traditional terracotta wood stove, along with a cozy living room overlooking the ancient village. From this floor, you can directly access the expansive open garden, surrounded by orchards and olive trees, where you can prepare your barbecue in peace. Try to identify the many bird species that use the adjacent woodland as a refuge and home! The upper floor features a small work area and another main bedroom with a private bathroom, and a stunning view of the UNESCO World Heritage hills.
This is truly a characteristic property, sensitively restored to preserve the original spaces and materials, while ensuring the functionality and comfort of modern accommodation. Relax and enjoy the surrounding nature, walk up the hillside lined with olive and fruit trees, explore the path that leads to the nearby San Michele church, dating back to almost 1000 years ago.
Enjoy the panoramic view and let your gaze wander from the Prosecco estates to the Castle of Cison di Valmarino.
Our rustic country house is a family-run property, personally lived in, loved, and cared for by us. It’s shared only with selected guests like you! It embodies some of the most important aspects of local artistic beauty, the wisdom of traditional rural work, a tribute to slow times and a relationship between man and nature that has largely been lost. At the same time, it offers comfortable and modern accommodations, but with respect for the nature of an ancient property and the surrounding landscape. It’s not the right place for those who do not share these values!

Cison di Valmarino is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, with its splendid medieval architecture, its castle, and its famous "Via dell'Acqua." From the property, located in the characteristic Gai district, you can use the private trail to reach the ancient San Michele church in just 10 minutes on foot. Founded around the year 1000, it is one of the oldest churches in the region, and a stunning example of Romanesque architecture, with frescoes and decorations that testify to its long history.
From Gai, numerous well-signposted cycling routes start, suitable for all levels, from families to professionals. It’s a true paradise for cyclists, especially for those who love gravel bike routes.
On foot, you can follow the Soligo River that flows close to the property, and reach the village of Cison di Valmarino. Or head in the opposite direction to the small towns of Revine and Lago, which feature a small swimmable lake, also equipped for kayaking from late June to October.
Once in Lago though, don't forget to taste the bread baked in the WOOD-FIRED OVEN (the only one of its kind in the region!); in nearby Colmaggiore (Tarzo), you will find traditional cheeses still made with local raw milk.
If you like more active sports, windsurf is common in Santa Croce lake, about 20 minutes driving away. Or reach out to the stunning "Brent de l'Art", a series of canyon in the nearby Sant'Antonio di Tortal.
Be sure to find some time to visit the nearby historic cities: Follina with its extraordinary Abbey founded in 1140, Vittorio Veneto, where World War I ended, and Treviso, a charming medieval city that is the birthplace of the popular dessert "tiramisu." In less than an hour via the nearby A27 highway, you can reach the heart of the Veneto Dolomites and visit Cortina. Choose the train from Vittorio Veneto or Conegliano to comfortably reach the stunning Venice!
