This exclusive residence is surrounded by a large, well-kept lawned garden in the sweet shade of pine, oak, palm and chestnut trees. The beautiful swimming pool with solarium is the ideal place for relaxing in the hot summer sun. An oasis of nature and tranquillity, a profusion of colour and scents, the villa, the only one in Sicily planned and built by the French architect Savin Couelle - evokes the atmosphere, charm and elegance of old Sicily.

A holiday rental home in Viagrande is a wonderful choice as a starting point for visiting Mount Etna and the eastern Sicily. From villa Edera, in 10 minutes, you can easily reach the highway and quickly reach Taornina, Siracusa, Noto and the south east area of Sicily. THINGS TO DO ON HOLIDAY TO VIAGRANDE: The beach and the mountains provide the backdrop for most of the popular activities. Swimming, fishing, sunning and boating are amongst the most popular summer activities. The scenic mountain sallow for climbing, canyoneering, trekking and hiking. Golf, horse back riding and tennis are other outdoor options. Consider spending a day visiting local wineries. Learn a bit about the wine making process and participate in a wine tasting. The local food is another draw. Ask to Paul, the owner, for suggestions of where to find the best meal and how vist a some wineries. Mt. Etna, the largest active volcano in Europe!
