This villa is in a small hamlet (borgo) set in beautifully landscaped gardens with magnificent views. The area is peaceful and the villa offers sophisticated accommodation whilst maintaining the charm of Tuscany - stone walls, metal railings and wooden windows. The built-in kitchen with American fridge/freezer, ice-maker, coffee machine, dishwasher and the stunning bathrooms with walk-in showers offer luxury at every corner. A shared bocce court and vegetable garden are for the use of guests of all ages.

We live in London but fell in love with Lunigiana when we first came here in 2008. We love the Italian culture, food, wine and history. This area is not spoilt by tourism but we are not far from well known places such as the Cinque Terre, Lerici, Lucca etc.

Just one hour north of Pisa, and inland from La Spezia, the hamlet of Braia has panoramic views over the Apuane and Appenine mountains.  Within a short drive you will find the Cinque Terre, Portovenere and Lucca. The area around the beautiful seaside town of Lerici, was once the home to Shelley, Byron and D. H. Lawrence and today is known as the "Gulfo dei Poeti" The villa has a private swimming pool, beautifully landscaped gardens and breathtaking views, overlooking the medieval castle of Bastia. Andreas lovingly tends our kitchen garden and guests are encouraged to pick their own seasonal fruit, herbs or vegetables to add to their meals.  Alternatively, our local chef can cook something special, whilst our house keeper service can help make your stay perfectly relaxing.
