Matera Villa Mater is an ideal location for those looking for an oasis of serenity. It is only 4km from the city center and 300m from Matera's neighbor Borgo La Martella (an old part of Matera where people from the old town 'Sassi' were moved to after the evacuation of the ancient city; and the place where the famous Church by Quaroni is located). Matera Villa Mater represents the ideal location to visit Matera and the old town 'Sassi' and, at the same time, to enjoy relaxing accommodation. The Villa offers two patios of about 40 square meters by the house, and one close to the swimming pool, and an open space of 800 square meters to enjoy the sun and play. An outdoor pool (4X9,5m and 1,2m deep) with a solarium area around the pool. Villa Mater is a premium accommodation for families and couples wishing to visit Matera and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere. It offers 3 independent apartments. The pool is open from May till end of September. The tourist tax is not include in the price. Pets - upon request - are allowed based on acceptig host's rules. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE POOL IS SHARED AMONG GUESTS.
Villa Mater is a premium accommodation offering relax and comfort. Guests will enjoy the experience of being close to the city but far from its confusion in a relaxing atmosphere. The host is a family speaking three languages (Italian, English and Polish) which friendly welcome people, who are looking for spending high-quality time in Villa Mater.
The Villa is located 300m from the village of La Martella or Borgo La Martella which offers the services of a residential area and a good restaurant and pizzeria: the Poeta Contadino. Alternatively, about 2km away is the restaurant Masseria del Parco.
