Recommended excursions: Villa Pastori is an ideal base for exploring by bike the numerous Venetian villas available for short distances (up to 5 km): Royal Villa of Stra, with its beautiful park and an intriguing labyrinth; Villa Foscari, designed in 1500 by the great architect Palladio; Villa Widmann-Rezzonico-Foscari and Villa Valmarana, a short distance from the Villa; Villa Pastori is situated on the Brenta Riviera in the town of Mira, halfway between Venice (20km away) and Padua (22 km), both easily reachable by public transportation or car. With short trips by car or train you can be made suggestive trips: • Lake Garda (Gardaland amusement park); • the first foothills of the Alps and the mountains of Nevegal; • forests of Cansiglio; • the famous Venetian cities: Treviso, Padua, Vicenza, Verona, Asolo, Marostica, Maser, Possagno, Chioggia; • the tourist centers on the sea as Jesolo or Sottomarina di Chioggia.
