Our stately and gated Villa San Lorenzo is fully furnished and sleeps 16 in bedrooms (18 people with sofa bed). It consists of a living room, a commercial kitchen, 8 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and views of the large pool and surrounding acreage. The Villa is situated on approximately 10 acres of surrounding land enhancing the privacy and appeal, yet is also adjacent to close amenities like small towns, markets, and restaurants in a very desirable area of Italy in Umbria on the border of Tuscany.

I was born and raised in California, but have traveled to 29 countries and have lived in Italy multiple times. I have been to all but one continent. I grew up in the construction business as my dad built homes. I have spent my entire career in the real estate business, owning a mortgage company (Loans by Suzette) and am also a CA licensed broker and general contractor as well. In addition, I am a luxury travel writer, so your experience while staying here is of the utmost importance to me. All of my business is referral based, even this one. VIlla San Lorenzo sits in a perfect location to take advantage of central Italy. There is a peaceful country feel on the property, which boasts 10 acres of private land. There are trails and fruit trees and the large pool overlooks the land. The small town of Gioiella is home to a bar, market, hair salon, flower shop and other amenities all less than 10 minutes from the Villa. Further afield, Castiglione del Lago is a hilltop town overlooking Lake Trasimeno, with charming streets, a museum, delicious restaurants selling typical food of the region as well as gourmet food and shopping. It is possible to take a train to the surrounding area near the villa, from most major airports, or we can arrange for a private car or driver. You will likely want a car in the countryside to visit the neighboring towns, although train service in Italy is easy, safe and reliable. There is ample free parking on the property for several cars.
