At a distance of just over 10 km is the most important Etruscan necropolis of all Europe, called "La Banditaccia". In its 100 hectares there are thousands of burials, whose origin can be traced back to the time span that extends from the Villanovan period (IX century BC) to the Etruscan period (III century BC). The same name "Banditaccia" is attributed to the fact that from the last years of the nineteenth century onwards the area was rented by tender (hence the term "banned") by the landowners of Cerveteri. The tombs, built in underground funeral buildings or covered by mounds of earth on the surface, appear as real houses; . It is the largest ancient Necropolis in the Mediterranean area. For travel by public transport: The railway station that connects Marina Di San Nicola in Rome and Fiumicino Airport can be reached in 10/15 minutes by COTRAL public transport, the latter inter alia connecting all the other seaside resorts of the Tyrrhenian coast, whose stop is about 500 meters from the Villa, while the pediatric hospital of the Bambin Gesù di Palidoro with PRONTO SOCCORSO center is just under 7 km away.
