The house is full of history as it was in the past the main "lido" of the city, that's how we call in Italy private beaches with utilities. After a period of oblivion in the 70s my family bought the property. The house is just few meters from the sea, right in the middle of the natural port of Syracuse, with the view of the sunrise and of the old town right in front of you. By boat you can reach the city in 5 minutes, by car it takes 15 minutes, maybe a little more depending on the traffic.

I'm Mariella, the wife of Massimo, the owner. Sometimes you will also meet my daughter Viviana, who lived abroad many years working as event organizer and few years ago decided to settle down again in this beautiful town. I love cooking and as a part of your experience in Sicily I also offer special cooking classes to get all the taste of this magic island that I can provide in this location. We speak fluently English and Spanish.

It's a strategic area, not far from the city (15 minutes by car) but far enough to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere far from the chaotic urban life. 5 minutes walking distance you can find a small food shop and, a little further on, a gasoline station with a bar where you can buy a tasty "granita with brioche" and newspapers. There are also tasty restaurants and pizzerie close by, we will provide you a list to choose.
