Villa Zambra is located in the splendid Tuscan countryside, between Florence and Siena, just 6 km from Poggibonsi (where all the essential services can be found), and just 15 minutes by car from San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. San Gimignano is set on a hill and is characterized by its beautiful towers and for Vernaccia (famous Tuscan white wine, the first Italian wine to receive the mark of DOC, Controlled Designation of Origin, in 1966). The villa boasts a wonderful location as it allows you to easily and quickly reach both the Chianti area (Greve, Panzano, Radda), and also some ancient Tuscan villages, little pearls of the surrounding area such as: - Certaldo Alta, a medieval village where the Italian writer and poet Giovanni Boccaccio lived; - Volterra, a famous Etruscan city with its walls and museum; - San Miniato, historic Napoleone Bonaparte's destination during his Italian Campaign, renowned for its white truffles.
