This property is a part of over 1,400 square meter historic landmark building registered by Japanese Cultural Agency. It is constructed over 7 years and completed in 1941. It is of an architectural importance especially as it survived through the WWII and is designed based on Feng Shui philosophy. Enjoy the island on foot, bikes, our shuttle vehicle or public buses. Our concierge can give you good tips on how to best-experience the island or hire a butler for the exclusive services.

It is situated on the corner of a sleepy fishing village yet walkable (10 minutes) to the city center and beaches. There are mountain and rice paddy trails to walk, bamboo forest, shrine and temple, and ruins of castle. We have a parking space yet we can pick you up in our van from Sumoto Interchange if you are coming from Kansai International Airport or Sumoto Bus Center coming from Kobe, Osaka, or Tokushima. For other destinations, kindly ask us to arrange the pick-up.
