Hostel Knot is a cozy guesthouse located in the heart of Shuzenji Onsen, Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Just a 5-minute walk to historic Shuzenji Temple and Bamboo Grove Path, and only 10 minutes to the Shuzenji Bus stop, it’s a perfect base for exploring the Izu Peninsula. Our hostel is ideal for short visits and also highly recommended for long-term stays or remote work. Surrounded by charming local cafés, restaurants, and public hot springs, it’s a great spot for those who love slow travel, nature, and local culture. Direct bus routes to West, South, and East Izu make it a convenient hub for multi-day Izu adventures.

A 10/15-minute walk to the nearest convenience store (7-Eleven and Family Mart) and surrounded by popular local eateries, soba shops, izakaya, and cafés. Shuzenji Station is also just 10 minutes away by bus and 40 minutes away on foot, providing easy access to West Izu (Dogashima), South Izu (Shimoda), and East Izu (Ito). Enjoy seasonal beauty throughout the year: cherry blossoms in spring, river activities in summer, colorful foliage in autumn, and onsen baths in winter.
