120年以上の歴史を誇る京町家近よしは、京都駅から徒歩12分、東本願寺から徒歩わずか5分に位置し、3部屋のみの和室と洋室の鍵付き個室、館内全域での無料Wi-Fiを提供しています。徒歩5分圏内にはコンビニ、24時間スーパーもあります。四条エリアや祇園エリアも徒歩圏内です。鴨川までは徒歩10分です。 建物の構造上、防音設備が完璧ではございません。エアコンはありますが、夏は暑く冬は寒いです。 一般のホテルの様な完璧な条件をお求めになりたい方は正直おすすめ出来ません。 京町家近よしにでは、無料の荷物預かりを利用出来ます。冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、湯沸ポット、食器類も充実していますので滞在中は客室で飲食する事も可能です。 調理をされる方はIHの貸し出しもございます。 トイレ、シャワーは他のお客様と共有になります。（ゆっくり湯船に浸かりたい方は近くに銭湯をご利用ください） バスタオルのレンタルもございます。 歯ブラシや寝巻きはご持参してください。
始めにこの宿は中年おっさんが1人で運営しております。 京町家近よしは、築120年を超えた京町家長屋を利用した小さな宿です。建物の構造上、音が響やすかったりして一般のホテルと比べて快適性では負ける部分があるかも知れません。ご宿泊していただくお客様には、あまり現代的にリノベされていない古民家を体験していただきたいと思っております。この家は、オーナーの曽祖父が建てた家を利用しているので、愛着がすごくあり、私自身も古いものが大好きなのでこの宿が大好きです。私も宿の横の同じ京町家で滞在しています。お客様が滞在中お困りの際にはすぐにご対応できるようにしております。
四条エリアへは徒歩10分、祇園エリアへは徒歩20分、鴨川へは徒歩10分、清水寺へはバスと徒歩で約20分、嵐山へは電車と徒歩で約20分
