We opened "Nishioji Guesthouse TANUKI" in November 2018! (Our guesthouses are all certified under Japanese Law.) You will find unique but traditional antique decors in this house, that make you feel at home! Especially with the warm lighting of each room, you can enjoy different atmosphere. This guesthouse is located in a quiet residential area near JR Nishioji Station which is 1 stop from Kyoto Station. Once you arrive at Nishioji Station, walk about 4 minutes and you will be at us! Easy access to many main attractions of Kyoto will make your stay easier and smooth. Staying in this traditional and relaxing Kyoto style house will make you feel as if you are in the Ghibli World!

Neighbourhood information

Our guesthouse is located very close (4min walk) from JR Nishioji Station, that is only 1 stop from Kyoto Station. You can easily access many main attractions of Kyoto by taking JR train. *There are many local restaurants around the station.* Mr.GYOZA→ Very nice GYOZA restaurant, you can have delicious Ramen too! YATAIYA → Japanese Izakaya restaurant where you can meet locals! OSAKAYA → Japanese Izakaya restaurant where you can meet locals!
