Fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, dishes, utensils, etc.) Also equipped with hairdryers, bath towels, face towels, Japanese-style nightwear (adult free size), toothbrushes, razors, a washing machine, and Wi-Fi. • Pets and smoking are not allowed. Narai-juku was a very prosperous post town along the Nakasendo route during the Edo Period. Often referred to as “Narai of a Thousand Houses,” many of those buildings still remain to this day. Our inn is said to have been built in the 17th century, and part of it still stands, having been renovated using local materials such as Kiso Hinoki cypress.
