I run an interior designing company. The restoration of old houses in urban areas is my life’s work, and I have designed and renovated a traditional Japanese home in Tokyo into a vacation rental facility. I hope to provide guests with a space in the city where you can relax. Please feel free to use my place as your own private home. Property information

Our clean-cut, modernly designed 2 story house is a 6min walk away from Nakai station. It is situated in a peaceful, friendly neighborhood. Here, one can experience life as a true local. With convenient and easy access to Shinjuku by train, entertain yourself in the heart of Japan, before returning to a serene environment to rest. With many windows allowing natural light to spill into all parts of our home, indulge yourself in mornings with beautiful sunshine to mark your memorable trip with us. =NOTE= 1)No light-blocking curtains in this house. Guests may find our home to be bright, especially at night in the Tatami Room, due to the streetlights. We provide one eye mask per guest during your stay but if you are sensitive to light, we recommend you to bring your own eye mask to sleep in. 2)No entry to the balcony on the 2nd floor. 3)Please be mindful that children do not play around the paper screen. If there are holes or damages to the paper screens, guests will be charged a fee to fix it.

Neighbourhood information

The Kamiochiai area is a safe and easy neighborhood to live in. There are a supermarket, drug stores, and convenience stores within walking distances, so you can purchase your daily necessities easily. For those keen on shopping and exploring Central Tokyo, Takadanobaba and Shinjuku are on the same line, and you can access even more places from there. However, this quaint town is not without its own charms. A variety of shrines and temples, parks and even a model railroad store not too far away for model train enthusiasts. With convenient travelling possibilities in a peaceful neighbourhood, Kamiochiai will be the location for you to stay in during your time in Tokyo.
