大正駅・ドーム前駅・弁天町駅徒歩圏、京セラドーム、新エリア「ドンキーコングエリア」が開業間地近のUSJ、万博予定地まですぐでどこへでもアクセス良好。大正駅を右方向（北西）に進んだ「大正橋」にコンテナを活用したユニークなデザインが特徴で、飲食店やショップ、イベントスペースなどが集まるおしゃれなエリアとして人気の「タグボート大正」があります。川沿いは桜並木で桜を見ながらクラフトビールやカフェ、フードトラックなどの食事が、楽しめ、音楽ライブやアート展示、マーケットイベントが開催されることもあります。駅前には1日遊べる 関西最大級の温泉型テーマパーク「空庭温泉 」をはじめダイソー、スーパー等もあり、『TOKIO城島 ほのぼの茂』で紹介された安くて人気のキララ九条3町商店街・ナインモール九条等の商店街もある魅力あふれる街です。
