Sukuma guest house blends the serenity of traditional Lamu architecture and design with all the contemporary needs of a vacation. Set in a landscaped garden, the property has four adjacent units, a swimming pool, and a rooftop Yoga platform. Its central location makes access to shopping and restaurants easy for all and is only five minutes walk from the beach.
We designed and built Sukuma House 13 years ago, inspired by Lamu and swahili architecture. Sukuma House is comprised of 4 separate self contained apartments with one or two bedrooms. We have 2 children who considered Diani and Sukuma house their home. Our family has relocated to Nairobi so you will be received and looked after by our caretaker. I will be available on phone or by mail anytime.
