Galu Beach is the finest section of beach in Kenya. It's an extension of Diani Beach and is a residential area. The main Diani Beach commercial area is about 5 kms away, however very close to us there are 4 beach bars and 3 excellent restaurants - all with a few hundred metres and you can just walk to them along the beach! It's a rare pleasure to do that. This is also a prime area for kite surfing, foiling and swimming. The sea is safe, with fine white sand, no rocks and is protected by the coral reef about 1km offshore so there are no strong currents or big waves. It's great for kids and adults alike.
