제주 동쪽 끝, 나를 비우는 빛. 빈방의 빛 에드워드 호퍼의 마지막 걸작, ‘빈방의 빛’처럼 침묵과 서정이 담긴 여행집. 빛과 그림자가 흐르는 공간에서 채우려는 나를 비우는, 쉼, 사색, 기도의 시간. 여행집, ‘빈방의 빛’은 자신을 천천히 돌아보고 ’나와 세상의 간격‘을 메울 새로운 방법을 찾는 여행자들을 다독입니다. ‘빈방의 빛‘에는 2채의 여행집이 있습니다. 빛의 반짝임 ‘빈방의 빛, light’ (15평 독채) 낮에는 햇빛에 끌리고 밤에는 달빛에 물드는 집. 둥글고 빛나는 가구와 조명, 색채와 투명의 기물. 사이가 좋은 관계, 사이를 좁히고 싶은 관계에 권하고 싶은 여행집. 그림자의 온기 ‘빈방의 빛, shadow’ (15평 독채) 고독하면서도 고독하지 않은, 혼자가 그대로 받아들여지는 집. 묵직하나 자연을 담은 가구와 흩날리는 벚꽃의 흑백 사진. 시끄러운 마음을 잠재우고 싶을 때… 누군가 무언가를 주의깊게 바라보고 싶을 때… 머물면 좋은 여행집.
