2. Doornberg a Dutch colonial home sitting high on Richmond Hill located within an acre of lawn and garden offering a 180 – degree panorama with views of the UNESCO heritage Galle Fort and the Indian Ocean beyond.

The house occupies an important history in Sri Lanka, built in 1712 for a retired Admiral from the Dutch East Indies, was the site of the first Methodist school in Asia, operated as a boy’s orphanage under the auspices of the Anglican Church and has hosted over many years illustrious guest from the world of international literature and politics.
4. The house with its six meter callings contains four suites with independent garden access. Each suites features a reading lounge, restored netted Dutch bed, celling fan, monogrammed linen on custom made 10- inch mattresses, and a large period bathroom with cast iron bath.
