This spacious, light and airy flat in the heart of Colombo's most desirable residential neighbourhood is minutes from all the key highlights of Colombo. The apartment is part of a larger house built in the late 1960’s. In fact, numbers 1, 1A, 1B (this building) and 1C were equal sized plots and all these houses were built around this period. In the 1960’s Flower Road was a quiet tree-lined avenue as most of Colombo 7 was at that time. Now, this area is categorised as special prime residential and as a result, there is a ban on any high-rise buildings. Sights such as the Colombo Museum, Viharamahadevi Park, Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green etc are all close by. Some of the best restaurants, cafes and shops are also within walking distance or short drive away - Commons, Cricket Club, Park Street Mews, Cinnamon Grand restaurants, Commons, Cricket Club, Mango Tree, Gallery Cafe, Barefoot etc.
Flower Road that is part of Colombo 7 was what was known as Cinnamon Gardens in the old days. Flower Road in the seventies was lined with beautiful old trees with loads of flowers. Some of those trees still remain. The area itself is very central and is close to all the major happenings in the city,
