We are the Camp of forest souls - an eco homestead surrounded by true Lithuanian countryside landscape – a wild forest, huge meadow, followed by rivulet at the end of it. Total wilderness with nothing else but you in it! The homestead consists of 2 chalets, ancient barn, fresh water well, a fire pit and 2 terraces: 1 serves as an outside dining area for your outstanding dinners and the other one has a built in hot tub, jacuzzi for your recreational needs. We have a volleyball & football courts in the garden by the forest, where you can spend your time actively. Our homestead will appeal to those who understand the value of sustainability, traditional culture, who feel a connection with the native land and responsibility for preserving the uniqueness of the region. In our homestead, the wooden ancient being is revived and constantly nurtured, modernity and ancient ethnic traditions are combined. Our homestead was built in 1940 and has been renovated in 2023 and this is where the ancient meets the modern. Biggest part of the solutions are new & comfortable for contemporary man, but we have also tried to preserve the history of the homestead, so some of the solutions are old & original.

We are situated in Mantvilai homestead, Merkinės district, Varėna region, 20 km away from one of the most beautiful resorts in Lithuania - Druskininkai. The lakes: Kampys & Ilgis is only about a 30 minutes walk, so you can easily hike through beautiful forest tracks, to have a swim or go fishing. If you are not into hiking - we offer an ATV & boat rentals, so you can ride the ATV with the boat on the trailer directly to the shore of the lake. We offer aluminum boat with electric motor rent for fishing or sailing in one of the surrounding lakes. We are in the buffer zone of Dzūkija Nationa Park. The pine forests, inland dunes, swamps and rivers that reign in the country’s largest national park harbour a unique natural world, giving shelter to numerous rare plants and animals. Park is the largest protected area in Lithuania and the country's most extensive forest (91% of the park area is forested, mainly with pines). The forest hosts occasional small villages with a feel of eras gone by. Soviets have not established their collective farms here and new construction has been limited - meaning that wooden homes built at ~1900 prevail with large traditional wooden crosses lining the unpaved main streets. Zervynos is a good example of such village. Lynežeris, Dubininkas, and Musteika are three other villages with a landmark status. Neighboring with Druskininkai, our neighborhood is a perfect escape for resort guests. Here you will find a great outdoors and tons of leisure and activity. Nature lovers should be interested in visiting Čepkeliai reserve with thousands of birds, protected plants and wild animals. For active outdoors lovers Dzukija National park has 12 marked bike routes going through fabulous nature viewpoints, among rivers and lake shores. There is a plenty of canoeing possibilities in Dzukija National park rivers. There are several marked hiking trails going through villages, among rivers and swamps.
