Zofija, for us, is much more than just a business. We are a retired couple with two adult children who love meeting new people and learning about their cultures. Since the opening of Zofija in 2013 we've learned a lot and made wonderful friends all around the world. However, each guest has their individual preferences and needs and thus our customers' privacy and comfort are our top priorities.
Zita is a retired local government officer with a degree in construction engineering. Aside from managing your bookings and queries she spends her days making sure Zofija's completely spotless and sparkling clean. Zita enjoys pilates and is still actively learning English. Her ideal night out? The opera house!
A lover of wildlife and the great outdoors Povilas is a retired law enforcement officer. He keeps himself busy manicuring Zofija's award-winning garden and doing various DIY projects in and around the house. In the summer, you can often see him cycling around Birštonas or kayaking in river Nemunas.
Birštonas is a tiny, idyllic town of 3000 people. Zofija's located in the very heart of town. Right across the street from Zofija there's the newly redesigned Birštonas park with outdoor sports and relaxation facilities. The town is equally safe both day and night.
All the main attractions, SPA centres and shops are just a short walk away.
