If you are looking for a quiet place, this is the ideal place, away from the city, among the forest, ideal to think and distract yourself.
San Mateo is a town located 157 km from the city of Oaxaca and 9 km from San José del Pacífico, it is a place where there is no telephone signal however it has a wifi network.
Its best known attraction is hallucinogenic mushrooms, the ideal season is between June and August. Count with places to eat, small shops to buy grocery stores, I recommend you bring cash since the nearest ATM is 53 km away
