Our house in a quiet part of La Punta is just 5 blocks from the beach and designed for space, light, and comfort. It offers spacious, well-equipped apartments — the downstairs unit features a stylish bathroom with skylight and palm view. The owner, a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, lives in the upstairs apartment and sometimes teaches classes on the palapa terrace (guests are welcome to book a session). When he’s away, his apartment is also available. Guests share a lush garden, large pool, and rooftop palapa with dining area and gym gear. Earthy tones, thoughtful design, and a chill vibe make it a relaxing stay.
I’m a German industrial engineer who moved to Puerto Escondido for the surf, warm weather, and laid-back lifestyle. When I’m not managing development projects, you’ll find me surfing, training Muay Thai, or dancing salsa.
I enjoy hosting because it lets me share what I love about La Punta: the waves, the community, and a home that’s both comfortable and thoughtfully designed.
Although we’re in La Punta’s hippest area, our street is quiet and surrounded by a relaxed residential neighborhood. Two blocks away, Avenida Héroes Oaxaqueños offers plenty of restaurants, and another two blocks brings you to the main strip with bars, ice cream shops, and more dining options. The beach is under five minutes away, where you can watch surfers on the left-hand point break, join a volleyball game, or enjoy a coconut at sunset.
