Property information

The Argus Residences comprises a row of five terrace houses built in 1928 in the Arts & Craft style. They were homes to several families of the Eurasian congregation who worship at the Assumption Church on Farquhar Street. Owned by the Catholic Church, the houses have been handed over to GTHH for its restoration and long-term care. The houses have been restored to the exacting standards of GTHH, a process which has taken twelve months to complete. The exteriors maintain their original structure, reflecting colonial heritage, while the interiors now feature modern comforts.
