Leju 8 is located at Lorong Jambatan, in the heart of the Malacca town. It was a traditional rubber stamp maker shop operated by by the Yam siblings, their father came from Canton in China.The shop is also their ancestral home. Their business has been operated for more than 70 years located on No.8 Bridge Lane (Lorong Jambatan).Bridge lane used to be the entrance to one of the most populated and morally corrupt streets in Malacca during the first half of the 20th century. It is located within the UNESCO world heritage sites and the neighbourhood is full of traditional shops like traditional barber shop,liquor bar with Malaccan made rice wine, hardware store,keysmith, jewellery shop etc. Guests can have an opportunity to experience the local lifestyle and to soak into the ambience of the old town when staying here. When you open the entrance door, you will see a walk way, and then a wooden staircase leading up to the first floor. First floor is a living room with an open air bathroom and terrace facing the local street . Second floor (top floor) is a bedroom with scrapped walls and three single beds on top of our diy wooden bedframe.

Thank you 2) Bed linens's colours might be different from the picture as we change them for cleaning. 3) Weekend nights (Friday & Saturday) music/ people chattering from one of the bar at the alley ( Earplugs are provided) 4) Ground floor is ‘ Kafe Tuju ', open daily 12pm - 10pm, off on Tuesday . 5) Original structure of wooden staircases might not be so suitable for elderly and very young toddler.
