Company information

The hosts make real efforts to fulfill all the needs of the guests. The owner is also a keen collector of multiple butterfly species, antiques, and art pieces. Wilna and her sister Ann are running the show. They are fond of animals, especially Yorkies . Wilna and Ann also have her four donkeys they are helping at the Lodge to make sure they are being fed in the dry season. They always like to reuse second-hand stuff. Not many shops in the Village when you need something urgently.

Property information

Ann's Lodge & Camping is situated at the exact spot where Kamanjab originated. The first trading store, J.S. Le Riche & Co., and the police station formed the basis of the community that would develop later. The original buildings are still in use, with the chalets and camping sites spaced around them. Modern facilities are blended with the unspoiled nature of typical Hills to be found in this unique "Place of stone" area. This establishment was started to offer tourists a unique experience of becoming one with raw Africa, without losing the comfort of basic luxuries.

We are 60km from the new Galton Gate on the Western side of the Etosha. Peet Alberts rock engravings are 8km from Kamanjab. Himba village is 20km from Kamanjab, there you can go on a Himba tour and learn more about their culture. The very unique Damaraland is 30km from Kamanjab.
