In stone lodges on the edge of the Etendeka Plateau, rooms at Grootberg Lodge offer far-reaching views. With an outdoor pool, it is run by an organisation that aims to improve local welfare. The conservation organisation supports projects in the area, promotes the importance of wildlife tourism to locals, and provides jobs. Featuring a furnished, wooden terrace with panoramic views, each room at Grootberg Lodge has a thatched ceiling and African décor. The shower in the private bathroom overlooks the plateau. With large windows overlooking the plateau, the rustic restaurant has wooden furniture. There is a bar on site, and packed lunches are available.
