Japie’s Yard Wanderer's Inn offers uniquely furnished rooms and cottages that creates a welcoming feel. The owners live on the property with their four legged friends. Our dogs and cats roam The Yard freely and have interactions with the guests. It is advisable to be an animal lover if you'd like to book with us. Japie's Yard is named after our sweetheart Collie X, Japie. We are happy to assist with anything but also stay out of the guest’s way if it is privacy you need. But good conversation and a glass of wine we are also happy to share!
Jessica and Peter have been in the tourism business for several years and love working and catering for guests. We love to hear about your travels. Our staff are all super friendly and happy to assist with anything.
Japie’s Yard is in a very quiet and secure neighbourhood, walking distance from town and the beach. The main beach, The Mole, is a mere 7-minute stroll from The Yard. Closely situated are fantastic restaurants, pubs and wine bars, as well as outdoor activities such as camel rides and quadbike riding. Park your car and enjoy the beautiful Swakopmund on foot, everything is close by.
