Newly created private guest suite in a charming old house in Windhoek West. This listing used to be just a private room in the house but is now a completely self-contained flat with own bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, large bed & living room with stunning old wooden floors, lots of natural light, private terrace and private outside braai/barbeque facilities. Walking distance to CBD, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful garden. Safe parking on the premises. Swimming pool. Good Wifi.

Situated just the other side (west) of the railway line, this is one of Windhoek's older residential areas where you will see many beautiful houses built in the 1960's or earlier.
The house is in walking distance of Windhoek's train station, which is also the pick-up and drop-off point for the Mainliner bus and most other buses to and from South Africa or other neighbouring countries.
It's easy and cheap to get a taxi in this area, since it's just a 5 minute walk towards the CBD.
