The house was built in 1911 and was part of a printing company. The house is renovated in 2016 and decorated in a modern style. The livingroom is 64 m2 and has large windows overlooking the street. One bedroom with separate bathroom is situated on the ground floor. There is a separate toilet. De second bedroom is on the first floor and has a shower and wash basin in the room. On the landing at the first floor is a washing machine and dryer. The entrance of the house is on the left side of the house. You have your own driveway to park your car. At the left side of the house there is a small patio were you can sit outside.

The owner of the house lives in the other part of the building with his wife and childeren. The owner has his office also in the building, so he is available for questions.

The village is the perfect place to visit Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Haarlem or Utrecht. Also the Ziggo Dome (concert hall), Amsterdam Arena (football stadium & pop concerts) are easy to reach by bus. The house is situated in the old village street of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. Supermarket, shops and restaurants are on walking distance. If you cross the bridge over the Amstel river you will find restaurants with terraces at the waterfront. Ouderkerk aan Amstel is also ideal for cycling in the area or to bike to Amsterdam. Visitors are charmed by the beautiful church, the parish houses and windmill De Zwaan. Also you’ll find here Beth Haim, the oldest Jewish cemetery in Europe, Dated from 1614. Beth Haim is world famous for the decorated tombstones from for example the rabbi and book printer Menasseh Ben Israel, he was a friend of Rembrandt and de Moroccon diplomat Samuel Pallache is buried here. By public transport you will be in Amsterdam in 20 minutes, 30 minutes on bike and 15 minutes by car.
