Welcome to Bed on a Boat in the beautiful village of Giethoorn! We have 2 luxury suite on the water especially for 2 people. Cozy, space and intimacy for 2! A beautiful unique place to sleep on the water. A luxury suite with a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room with a sofa bed and a kitchenette. For a special occasion, you can rent this 2 luxury suite. Sleep in your own bedroom, enjoy your breakfast in the living room with a beautiful view over the water, explore the beautiful village of Giethoorn by boat and sit on the couch with a glass of wine and enjoy the silence. With children? No problem! In 1 of the boats there is a sofa bed in the living room, with enough space for two children to sleep. NB: Bed-on-a-Boat remains in the harbor. You cannot sail with the boat. There is 1 with a view of the harbor and the other has a view of the river.

From the marina you can easily walk to "Dutch Venice" Giethoorn. There are no roads in Giethoorn and the tranquility is almost dreamlike. It’s so quiet because there are no ways for cars to get around, because there are no roads. Locals and visitors to Giethoorn navigate in whisper-quiet ways: by bike, boat or foot. In this hamlet, a collection of small peat islands connected by bridges, you can walk or sail among thatched-roof farmhouses and footbridges crossing the maze of canals. Explore!
