It is in a beautiful area with lots of space, privacy and right on the water. There is a possibility to rent a boat and thus to explore the natural beauty of the area Giethoorn. (The Weerribben Wieden / National Park) We also have a private jetty of 70m where you can put your own boat during a stay in one of our cottages or at a campsite.

Nature, culture and water sports enthusiasts, both young and old can enjoy themselves in Giethoorn and surroundings. Sailing in the village of Giethoorn On a beautiful summer day you will find also in Giethoorn of all the water that it can float. Giethoorn itself is of course known for its beautiful village canals and walkways alongside. It is an experience to sail the canals or walk along. In addition to the many possibilities of water sports Giethoorn also has great range of museums at (shells gallery Old Earth, farm museum, art galleries), shops and restaurants. De Weerribben-Wieden National Park. De Weerribben-Wieden National Park is located in Overijssel. It is a landscape where predominate water and reeds. This national park is the most important wetland in Northwest Europe. The current landscape of the Weerribben-Wieden caused by the excavation of peat for peat extraction. Traces of these are to be found both in the landscape and in the name of the area.
