Our thatched house is located at the Beach Resort Makkum also called Makkum in Zee. The dune villa is located near various IJsselmeer beaches. In and near the central building there are sports and games facilities and bicycle and water sports rental. Fishing is allowed on this private property without a fishing license. On the boulevard within walking distance there are several restaurants, snack bars and shops.

We rent out our family home when we are not using it ourselves. Our Duinvilla is quite luxurious, homely and certainly not vandal-proof as a family home. We therefore prefer tenants who treat our belongings with care. Pets are not allowed because we do not want to pollute upholstery and other items. Smoking is also not allowed in the home because we strive for an odorless indoor climate. We try to keep both the interior and the exterior in a very good condition for ourselves and of course our guests. If we have to choose between an optimal occupancy rate or keeping our home clean and tidy, we choose the latter without hesitation. In addition, cost coverage is more important to us than optimizing income.
