Dear Guests, Our more than 120 year old house is in an amazing part of Amsterdam is on walking distance of a lot of hotspots. Like the Albert Cuyp Market, the musea area, Heineken experience and the metro which takes you to the center in 4 minutes. Because of the Corona we desinfect the guestroom thouroughly every time before new guests arrive. You have your own entrance. Desinfect for your hands is available at the entrance door. Bars and restaurants are open again (outside with terrasses)and musea are preparing to open again for 1,5 meter distance. Feel free to sent me a mail when you have any questions. Hi I am Peggy your host! I live in this beautifull old house toghether with my son Nick. We were both born in beautifull Amsterdam, so do not hesitate to ask us for the best places in town to have the best local experience.

This area is the place to be in Amsterdam. Just around the corner many restaurants and bars. lovely vintage shops, Heineken experience, Albert Cuyp Market. Museum area and congrescentre Rai only on 10 minutes walk. Utrechtsestraat, a lovely street with many beautifull shops and restaurants only 10 minutes. The famous PC hooftstraat with the most luxury shops only 10 minutes walk. Our favourites: Oeuf (the tasties eggdishes ever!), Cafe Restaurant De Duvel (perfect food and super friendly servants) Sarphatipark (take your coffee and drink it there), Blond (dutch ceramics from two artists), "Chris"Chickensnacks on the market, Tjins (best Toko of Amsterdam), Loetje (best steak in Amsterdam) Pizza Taxi(Paolo and Seba are the best hosts, not expensive at all and really good) Friet van Zuid ( best homemade french fries, and other dutch treats, try the frikadel :-) Frederique (great fresh food, also to take away) Rialto (great alternative movies in a fantastic art deco building) Jan Palmen shoes (dutch designer shoes), Shanti Jewels on the Market with the best quality jewelry for a small price.
