Houseboat B&B The Seal is a 35m2 private apartement. It has it's own entry, a kitchenette with refrigerator & microwave & some cooking equipment. There is a bathroom, living room and a loft bedroom (standing height +\- 1.65 m), a terrace on the water. Free wifi, free parking until 1/11/25. The Seal is situated in North Amsterdam near the NDSM warf where you can find fun restaurants. You are 15 to 20 minutes away from the city center, but also a bike ride away from the lovely Waterland. The houseboat has two apartments. We live in the front apartment. So you will be sharing the houseboat with us. The outdoor spaces are private for both apartments and we have sound isolation in all the walls. But please be aware of the quiet hours and house rules.

I absolutely love living on the water. As soon as we can we will get on the water (by boat or sup board) or in the water (swimming). And when it is still to cold we enjoy just staring at the water. I feel we live on the best place on earth. I love to share this experience with our guests. I have live in many areas in Amsterdam. North Amsterdam for me is the best place to be. Our houseboat village is nice and quiet, but you are in the center of town in only 15 minutes. The B&B is in my own houseboat! So I live there too ;-)! I am often on the premises and easily available in case of questions or problems. Guests have a private entry and a private outdoor space, but it is unavoidable that we run into each other every now and again. Most guests love to have a little chat but I also do my best to give my guests the privacy they want.

Our houseboat B&B is located in North Amsterdam, near the old shipyard NDSM. North Amsterdam is a creative, vibrant place. Northerners who have working on the warfs, artist, new inhabitants are the people who live in this part of town. There are many fun and tasty restaurants. The neighbouring warf has many activities and festivals. From the warf you can take the free ferry that takes you to central station in 10 minutes.
