In Statenkwartier you will find many historic buildings that were build in the beginning of the last century. The authentic buildings have a spacious and stately character. Statenkwartier has been designated as a State Protected Cityscape because it concerns an early 20th-century urban expansion outside the 17th-century Singelomgracht in The Hague. This ensures that the neighborhood always retains its authentic appearance. The Prins Mauritslaan is located next to the Frederik Hendriklaan, a well-known shopping street in The Hague with various dining options and unique shops.
