Property information

The cottage is part of a quiet and small bungalow park located by the Schildmeer lake. It is made almost entirely of wood and has a cosy and rural feel. You can fully enjoy the fine surroundings or in the evening with a glass of wine on the veranda. The double bed consists of 2 single beds and can therefore also be used as 2 single beds.

Neighbourhood information

Together with Roegwold, the Schildmeer forms a varied nature area. Old nature is supplemented with new nature and agricultural areas between the already existing nature areas are redeveloped. The area is characterised by an alternation of open water, grasslands, marshes, rough nature, tranquillity and wide views. A large part of the area is grazed by Hereford cows, Groninger cows and sheep. Thanks to the extensive network of cycle paths and footpaths, you can see and experience nature well and immerse yourself in it. For example, by walking along the Knuppelpad; a 750-metre wooden plank path straight through the swamp of Roegwold. The view is different every season, allowing you to take the most beautiful photos.
