De accommodatie ligt op een prachtige wierde en het Noordzeekustpad loopt voor het huis, Pieterpad is 12 km bij ons vandaan. Het Jacobspad begint in Uithuizen, in overleg kun je gebracht worden naar het begintpunt. Deze kamer is ideaal voor fietsers en wandelaars. Sinds kort loopt het Ziltepad ook bij ons voor de deur langs. U kunt genieten van de rust, ruimte en een prachtig uitzicht over de landerijen.
Uw host is lange afstandswandelaar en vind ontmoetingen met andere mensen erg fijn. Op verzoek kook ik voor u tegen kleine vergoeding. Voor 7,50 euro per persoon kunt u ook een ontbijt krijgen, maar dat mag u aangeven in de mail. Vanaf 1 januari 2026 kost een ontbijt 10, 00 euro per persoon.
Het Hogeland heeft prachtige wierden met hun kerkjes, musea in de buurt en Groningen is met de auto binnen een half uur bereikbaar.
