Ever stayed in a Dutch Piramide? Built in 1870 and reguarly upgraded its still a traditional Dutch farmhouse located in the middle of the tulip and hyacint fields on the edge of the dunes and on 10min from the beach. It has a reed thatched roof which keeps it cool in summer and warm in winter.. In earlier days the animals were inside the main building but we made sure we have separate stables for our four horses now..... The appartment is located on the first floor and the 3rd bedroom on the ground floor. There is no kitchen but a small fridge , nespresso machine watercooker and microwave are there to allowe you to make your own breakfest although we also can provide that for you( from 7.50 euro till 15.00 pp depending on your requirement).

We have 4 frisian horse which we use for marriages, funerals, flower and beach tours etc... Also we occasionally do ringsteekwedstrijden (sticking a sword through a hanging ring and getting ponts for that) which you are happily to join if one happens during your stay! Another activity is combined driving where we race with the four horses through obstacles... To protect our safety we have our dogo canario Sherman.. who is very sweet and loving but who stays most of the time outside of the house on a long rope.. We have the possibility to give you driving lessons with our horses . We can also take you for tour with the horses

The property is located in the middle of the flowerfields.. Every part of the year has its own crops ranging from crocusses and daffodils in early spring up to gladiolus and other special bulbcrops in late summer and autum. The beach is at 10 min by car .. 20 min by bike and 40 min by foot.. and is very nice and not so commercial as the big places like zandvoort or scheveningen... The dunes are also nice to recreate and if you like the exitement of the big city you can choose from Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Haarlem. Nice museums like zaanse schans , boot tours, carriage tours, canoeing etc are all very close and we can guide and assist you in locating them.
