Water sports campsite De Bearshoeke, together with the mini-supermarket ‘Doarpswinkel Aldegea’ located a stone's throw away, falls under the Recreatiestichting Oudega-SWF. This foundation, run by local volunteers, aims to promote tourism in and around Oudega and ensure that it remains in balance with the small-scale character of the village. Peace, space, water sports, hiking and cycling are the main features. The campsite is managed by two managers, who are supported in the holiday periods by a team of enthusiastic young people. During the summer months, they provide fun activities for young and old, such as crafts, a ‘fox hunt’, volleyball tournaments or a real movie night for the young.

Right next to the beautiful Oudegaaster Brekken you will find Watersportcamping De Bearshoeke. Here you can relax and enjoy a comfortable holiday. In addition to spacious camping pitches, the campsite offers various accommodation for rent: from a luxury log cabin to a holiday home by the water! So you will always find accommodation suitable for you. The campsite is located in Oudega, municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân, Oudega SWF for short, and with a few minutes' walk you are already in the cosy heart of the village. The campsite is located directly on the Oudegaaster Brekken and has its own marina. Here you can rent your own berth for a (rented) boat for an additional fee. Boats on hand trailers can be set up on your own pitch. In addition, the campsite has a swimming beach, a trailer ramp and playground equipment. Various activities for young and old are also organised during the school holidays. And you will find a real windsurfing school ‘Skills’ on site, where you can book lessons and hire equipment.

The village of Oudega has a cosy little village centre with several restaurants and a waterside terrace. You will find the ‘Doarpswinkel Aldegea’, a small but widely stocked supermarket. From fresh croissants and fruit juices in the morning to a fully catered barbecue: the range leaves nothing to be desired for your relaxing holiday in Oudega. A little further on in the village, you can hire a sailboat, sloop, sup or canoe from Watersportbedrijf De Werff to explore the water around the campsite and the village. Both wide open waterways and sheltered ditches and pools can be found in the immediate vicinity of the village.
