The quietly located Zeeuws Huisje (Cottage) is situated in our backyard in the centrally located village of Serooskerke. All tourist attractions, such as Veere, Domburg, Middelburg, beach & Veerse Meer are easily accessible by bicycle. The cottage has a private entrance, parking and garden (with both a garden table with chairs as a lounge-set). Because of our dog Lex, chickens and a rabbit, it is not allowed to bring pets to Zeeuws Huisje. Upon arrival the beds are made and the bath towels are ready. On request, we will change the towels during the stay. This always goes in consultation. It is also possible to rent a beach-hut during your stay in our cottage. This Beach House is on the beach in vrouwenpolder. Please ask us during your stay for details about availability and/or rental rate.
Since I was a child, I lived in a recreation company; tourism is in my blood. After some wandering around and working at several campsites in the area, I am very happy that Zeeuws Huisje ready. Whilst your stay I will be (weather permitting) seen much outside, because in addition to all the flowers and plants, we also have a (starting) vegetable garden. The garden requires so much attention, which I give with love. I'm looking forward to welcoming you in our cottage!
Serooskerke is virtually in the middle of the island of Walcheren. The beach is within cycling distance and in the village, approximately 800 metres, is a (heated) outdoor swimming pool. A stay in the province of Zeeland is not complete without a visit to Veere; Browse quaint narrow streets and picturesque shops. Also the weekly market in Middelburg is well worth an afternoons visit, as well as the Mantelinge (nature reserve) which runs from Vrouwenpolder until beyond Oostkapelle. Of course, you also want to pay a visit at the Delta works at Neeltje Jans. You will find a folder with all kinds of tips and recommendations at the cottage.
