For the more adventurous, there are mountain bike trails and anglers can enjoy fishing in the clear mountain lakes. In winter, Hovden transforms into a winter sports paradise with the largest ski area in southern Norway, offering both downhill slopes and groomed cross-country ski trails. Accommodation is not suitable for groups of young people.
