The main floor houses the living room, kitchen and two bedrooms, and there are also two bright and newly renovated bedrooms on the basement floor with a separate entrance from the outside. The large natural plot is a paradise for young and old alike, with wild berries, a cozy playhouse and a spacious lawn perfect for play and games. Several verandas and decks around the house allow you to follow the sun throughout the day. In the immediate area you can explore Drøbak's many beautiful beaches, from shallow sandy beaches to rocky cliffs with diving towers. Start the day with fresh strawberries from Jordbærbua, visit the wonderful garden Havlyst at Ramme gård, or take a walk along the pier in Drøbak center with ice cream in hand. Meet Embla The cabin was purchased by my grandparents in the 1970s, but was taken over by younger generations 17 years ago. Since then, we have modernized it with care, while taking care to preserve its original era with reuse, cheerful colors, and a playful interior. For us, the cabin means slow living – a break from everyday life where we enjoy the simple things, such as breakfast with a view of the sea or picking blueberries on the way to the mailbox. There is a sense of peace here, and the need to do things disappears a little; it is enough just to be.
