Nestled about 10 meters above the forest floor, Faråsen Tretoppgård offers a pair of enchanting treetop cabins—Skogro and Mjøsgløtt—perfectly perched in an earthy, tranquil setting near Brumunddal and Lake Mjøsa.
Each cozy cabin spans approximately 22 m², with a well-insulated layout that includes a ground-floor living room/kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet, and a skylit bedroom. Upstairs, six additional beds beneath skylights await 12 meters high—together offering comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests.
The cabins surround you with nature at every turn. Enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace amid birds and squirrels, cozy up in a gapahuk (forest shelter), or relax by the pond—complete with rowing boats—all just steps away. Trails for hiking and cross-country skiing start right at your doorstep.
For an authentic farm experience, you can meet the animals, collect fresh eggs, or purchase farm-fresh products like beef, burgers, and eggs during select seasons.
Inside, find everything you need for a carefree stay: board games, bedding, towels (available for a small fee), toilet paper, candles, and thoughtful touches that bring comfort and charm.
Guests consistently rave about their stays—describing the cabins as peaceful, beautifully furnished, and uniquely magical. Many mention playful visits from wildlife, stunning sunrises and sunsets, and exceptional hospitality from hosts Ruben and Merete.
